Wedding Transportation at NLS

Where logistics meet love.

A wedding day is one of the few times in life when transportation timing matters more than the transportation itself. Late means missed photos. Wrong vehicle means a stressed bride. Inexperienced chauffeur means awkward moments. NLS exists to make all of that someone else's problem.

NLS has handled wedding transportation across the Bay Area, Wine Country, and Los Angeles for 37 years. We've moved brides through fog-bound San Francisco mornings, navigated Napa's vineyard roads at sunset, and coordinated 8-vehicle wedding-party shuttles when the rehearsal dinner ran an hour late. The pattern, after all that, is consistent: the wedding works when transportation just works.

Most weddings need transportation across three core moments: getting-ready to ceremony, ceremony to reception, and reception to send-off. Larger weddings add wedding party shuttling, family transportation, and guest service between accommodation and venue. NLS coordinates all of it through one point of contact.

We work directly with wedding planners as part of the vendor team. For couples planning without a planner, we handle our piece directly with you and your photographer.

Wine Country weddings.

NLS has built deep expertise in Napa Valley and Sonoma County wedding transportation. Vineyard weddings have specific logistical challenges: winding access roads, limited parking, multiple ceremony and reception locations, and guests staying across a wide geography of wineries, hotels, and rentals.

For Wine Country weddings, NLS typically coordinates: long-distance transportation from Bay Area pickup points (San Francisco, Peninsula, East Bay), guest shuttle service between accommodations and venue throughout the day, and wedding-party logistics on-site at the vineyard.

We know the venues: Auberge du Soleil, Beaulieu Garden, Carneros Resort, Beringer, Black Swan Lake, Calistoga Ranch, Meadowood, the rest. We know the routes, the parking constraints, and the timing of vendor access at each. That experience compounds into smoother wedding days.

For destination Wine Country weddings, multi-day NLS programs are common, covering Friday rehearsal dinner transportation, Saturday wedding day full coverage, and Sunday brunch and departure transfers.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions.

What types of wedding transportation does NLS provide?
NLS provides every type of wedding-day transportation: bride and groom transfers (getting-ready location to venue, ceremony to reception, reception to hotel or send-off), wedding party shuttling between locations, family transportation, guest shuttle service between hotel and venue, and post-wedding next-day transfers for departing guests.
How far in advance should we book wedding transportation?
For peak wedding season (May through October), we recommend booking 6 to 12 months in advance to ensure your preferred vehicles and chauffeurs. Off-season weddings (November through April) typically can be confirmed 3 to 6 months ahead. Last-minute bookings are sometimes possible but selection is limited.
Do you coordinate with our wedding planner?
Yes. NLS works directly with wedding planners as part of the wedding-day vendor team. We coordinate timing, routes, photography stops, and any logistics adjustments. For full-service wedding planners, we typically have a primary contact who manages all transportation through us.
Can chauffeurs help with photography stops?
Absolutely. Wedding day routes often include 2 to 3 photography stops between getting-ready, ceremony, and reception. Our chauffeurs are accustomed to coordinating with photographers, holding the vehicle during shoots, and adjusting timing as the schedule evolves throughout the day.
What vehicles work best for weddings?
For the bride and groom, a Mercedes-Benz S-Class sedan or Cadillac Escalade SUV are most common (the SUV often preferred for ease of dress maneuvering). For wedding parties, Cadillac Escalades seat 6 comfortably or Sprinter vans accommodate 7 to 14. For guest shuttle service between hotel and venue, larger Sprinter vans or motor coaches via our affiliate network.
Do you provide service in Napa Valley and Sonoma for vineyard weddings?
Yes. Wine Country weddings are a common NLS specialty. We coordinate transportation from Bay Area pickup points to Napa Valley and Sonoma vineyards, manage guest shuttles between accommodation and venue, and provide chauffeur service throughout the wedding day. We know the venues, the routes, and the logistics.
Can NLS handle a wedding outside California?
Yes. Through our certified affiliate network, we can coordinate destination weddings across all 50 U.S. states and 70+ countries. A single point of contact through NLS manages multi-vehicle programs across affiliate markets with the same operational standards.
What is the cancellation policy for wedding bookings?
Wedding bookings typically have custom cancellation terms set at the time of booking due to the long advance window and the difficulty of rebooking on short notice. Standard policy is non-refundable deposit at confirmation with the balance due in stages leading up to the wedding date. Specific terms are documented in your wedding service agreement.
