NLS has been the chauffeur company for these moments since 1989. We've driven 50th anniversary couples to the restaurant where they had their first date. We've coordinated proposals that began at sunset on the Marin Headlands. We've taken three generations to a milestone birthday dinner in Beverly Hills. The pattern, after all these years: great chauffeurs make great moments better, almost without you noticing.
What distinguishes NLS for special occasions isn't the vehicle (though our Mercedes S-Class and Cadillac Escalades are immaculate). It's the chauffeur. Senior NLS chauffeurs have spent years reading the rhythm of celebration evenings. They know when to make small talk and when to be invisible. Most special occasion bookings run 4 to 6 hours: pickup at home, transfer to the venue, the chauffeur waits, and return. Some run longer with multiple venues. Dinner, then a show, then a celebratory drink before home. Whatever the shape of your evening, we work it into the booking.

The most carefully timed evenings. Pickup, dinner, the proposal moment, and a celebration. NLS coordinates with restaurants, photographers, and scenic stops.
Career milestone celebrations. Often involve a meaningful venue, family from out of town, and the kind of evening that closes a chapter well.
Graduation ceremonies, family dinners, the transition moments worth marking. Often paired with school transportation for younger siblings.
Multi-generational gatherings, often involving family flying in. NLS coordinates airport pickups, transportation to the family event, and inter-venue transfers.

Most special occasion bookings start with a brief conversation, usually a 10-minute call where you tell us what you're celebrating, what you're hoping for, and any specific touches you'd like. From there, we plan.
The booking itself is hourly charter, typically 4 to 6 hours for a single-evening occasion. Pickup at your home (with a 30-minute early arrival to give breathing room), transfer to the first venue, the chauffeur waits, and any subsequent stops or your return home.
For proposals or particularly time-sensitive occasions, we coordinate the timing closely. The chauffeur knows the rough plan and the signal. You're never managing logistics during the moment itself.
Pricing is transparent. The hourly rate covers the chauffeur and vehicle for the duration. Personal touches (champagne, flowers, etc.) are added at cost. Tolls, parking, and the 20% gratuity (which may be modified) are itemized on the final invoice.
