What Point-to-Point Is

The simplest NLS service.

A direct, predefined transfer from one location to another. One-way pricing. Quick to book. Premium standard throughout.

Point-to-point is the right service when your trip is straightforward. You know where you're starting. You know where you're ending. You don't need the chauffeur after you arrive. The drive itself is the whole booking.

Most NLS point-to-point bookings happen along familiar corridors: home to office, office to client meeting, hotel to restaurant, restaurant to home. They take 30 minutes to 90 minutes. They benefit from the same NLS standard as every other service. 15-minute early arrival, NDA-bound chauffeurs, $10M insurance, immaculate vehicles less than 3 years old.

Pricing is one-way and quoted upfront. There are no surprise charges, no hourly meter. What you book is what you pay (plus tolls, parking, and the 20% gratuity, which is added to every bill and may be modified).

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions.

What is point-to-point chauffeur service?
Point-to-point is a direct, predefined transfer from one location to another with one-way pricing. Unlike hourly charter, you do not retain the chauffeur or vehicle after the destination is reached. Common point-to-point corridors include home-to-office, office-to-meeting, hotel-to-restaurant, and restaurant-to-home.
How is point-to-point different from airport transfer?
Airport transfers are point-to-point services that involve a commercial airport or FBO at one end. Point-to-point service covers all other direct transfers, typically between residences, offices, hotels, restaurants, and similar destinations. Both have one-way pricing. Airport transfers add flight tracking and 20-minute wait time after pickup.
Does point-to-point include any wait time?
Yes. Twenty (20) minutes of complimentary wait time after the scheduled pickup is included in every point-to-point booking. Beyond that, wait time is charged at the transfer base rate plus the hourly rate prorated in 15-minute intervals.
Can I make a stop on the way?
One stop along the route is included, up to 15 minutes. If the stop exceeds 15 minutes, the booking continues at the base rate plus hourly rate in 15-minute increments. If you have multiple stops or expect any stop to exceed 30 minutes, hourly charter is the more economical choice.
How does point-to-point pricing work?
Point-to-point uses one-way pricing based on the predefined corridor and vehicle class. The quoted rate covers the direct transfer and is fixed at booking. Surcharges may apply for tolls, special requests, or trips that extend beyond NLS's local service area (75 miles from each service hub). The 20% gratuity is added to every invoice and may be modified.
When should I book a point-to-point transfer?
We recommend booking at least 4 hours in advance to ensure vehicle availability. Same-day bookings are accommodated based on fleet availability. Call our 24/7 concierge at +1 (650) 364-0118 for last-minute requests.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellations within 24 hours of the scheduled pickup time may incur a fee equal to the base transfer rate. No-shows are charged at 100% of the booked service. See full terms in our Terms and Conditions.
Can I book a return point-to-point at the same time?
Yes. Same-day round-trip bookings are common and can be booked as two point-to-point reservations at once. If you'd like the chauffeur to wait at your destination rather than depart and return, hourly charter is usually more cost-effective for waits longer than 30 minutes.
