NLS Transportation is committed to making our website and services usable by people of all abilities. This statement describes our accessibility goals, the standards we apply, and how to reach us if you encounter accessibility issues.
Last Updated: May 27, 2026Accessibility is part of how we deliver service to our clients — both online and in person. NLS Transportation is committed to ensuring that our website (nlstrans.com), our reservation systems, and our chauffeured transportation services are accessible to people with disabilities.
We strive to comply with applicable federal and state accessibility regulations, including the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and we work toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, the international standard for web accessibility.
Our website is designed and developed to substantially conform with WCAG 2.1 Level AA across the following principles:
Principle I.
Information and user-interface components are presented in ways users can perceive — including alt text for meaningful images, sufficient color contrast, and resizable text.
Principle II.
Our website is keyboard-navigable, with sufficient focus indicators, logical tab order, and skip-to-content links where appropriate.
Principle III.
Content is presented in clear language, with consistent navigation patterns, descriptive form labels, and predictable behavior across the site.
Principle IV.
Our site is built with semantic HTML and tested across modern browsers and assistive technologies including screen readers.
WCAG 2.1 Level AA conformance is an ongoing commitment. Some elements of our site or third-party integrations may not yet fully conform — we are actively working to address gaps and improve.
Beyond our website, accessibility extends to how we deliver chauffeured transportation:
NLS maintains specialty wheelchair-accessible vehicle (WAV) availability through our affiliate network and direct fleet. WAV requests can be made at the time of booking by calling our concierge at +1 (650) 364-0118 or emailing reservations@nlstrans.com. Advance notice helps us source the right vehicle for your needs. WAV options are also a core part of our Non-Emergency Medical Transportation service.
Passengers with disabilities are welcome to travel with their service animals at no additional charge. Service animals are not required to be transported in a kennel or carrier. For more information, see our Terms & Conditions.
If you require assistance reaching our concierge — for example, through a relay service, TTY, or alternative communication method — please email us at reservations@nlstrans.com and we will respond promptly using your preferred method.
If any part of our online reservation process presents an accessibility barrier, our concierge team is available 24/7 by phone at +1 (650) 364-0118 to assist you with booking, account questions, or any other service need.
Accessibility is not a finish line. We work continuously to improve the accessibility of our digital and physical services, including:
Our website may include content provided by third parties (such as embedded maps, analytics tools, or affiliate partner widgets). NLS does not control the accessibility of third-party content but works with vendors who are committed to accessibility. If you encounter accessibility issues with third-party content on our site, please let us know and we will work with the relevant vendor or seek alternatives.
While we strive for full WCAG 2.1 AA conformance across our website, we acknowledge that no website is perfectly accessible. Some content or functionality may not yet meet our standards, especially:
If you encounter content that is not accessible, please contact us — we'll work to provide an accessible alternative.
