A Career, Not a Gig
NLS chauffeurs and dispatchers stay for years — most for over a decade. We invest in our people because retention is how we deliver consistency to clients.
Careers · NLS Transportation
Family-operated since 1989. Two California hubs. A vetted global network. We hire fewer than 2% of chauffeur applicants, invest 80+ hours of training in every new hire, and build careers, not gigs.
View Open RolesWhy NLS
For 37 years, NLS Transportation has been family-operated, family-staffed, and family-defended. We are the rare chauffeured service that has never been a gig platform, never been a marketplace, never sold itself to private equity.
We hire deliberately. We train comprehensively. We pay competitively. And we promote from within — most of our senior dispatchers and concierge staff started behind the wheel. That continuity is why our clients stay with us for decades, and why our chauffeurs do too.
If you take pride in your craft, in your appearance, and in being the kind of professional that other professionals notice — read on.
The NLS Difference
NLS isn't a rideshare. We're not a gig platform. And we're not a 50-driver shop run out of a back office. Here's what working at NLS actually looks like.
NLS chauffeurs and dispatchers stay for years — most for over a decade. We invest in our people because retention is how we deliver consistency to clients.
80+ hours of initial training, 36 hours of annual recertification. Defensive driving, hospitality, First Aid/CPR, NDA discretion, counter-surveillance — all built into the curriculum.
The owners are on-site. Decisions get made by people who know your name. Promotions come from inside the company. And feedback travels in both directions.
Wearing the NLS uniform means something. Our clients are the kind of executives, families, and corporate accounts that recognize and remember the people who deliver service well.

In Their Words
When I started at NLS, I'd been in this industry for over a decade. What surprised me wasn't the standards — every premium chauffeur company has standards. What surprised me was that NLS actually lived them. The owners know my name. Dispatch backs me up. The training was real. I've stayed eight years for a reason.
